Over the past few years we have developed a range of music commissions working with our Artistic Associate, David Parry, and world-class composers including Jonathan Dove, Gwilym Simcock, John Tavener and Joby Talbot.
Commissioning circles are vital to us if we are to continue this level of artistic innovation on both a national and international level and make a significant contribution to our artistic profile and the profile of the City and County. Becoming a member of a commissioning circle provides a unique opportunity to get to the heart of the development of the Festival commissioning programme.
Festival Schools
Festival Schools is our Creative Learning programme that will deliver a year-round programme of cultural and creative learning, connecting schools across Norfolk to the international arts festival programme.
Festival Schools is about helping children and young people discover new work and ideas, to express themselves, to develop a passion for, and to make the most of, creative and cultural experiences. Whether it is through music, art, film, theatre, dance, digital media, exploring libraries, museums or heritage, Festival Schools is for every child and young person, whatever their age and whatever their ability.
- Annual fee £300
- Briefing on commission plans and process with Artistic Director
- Newsletter updates on new commissions
- Invitation to 'in conversations wtih Artistic Director and composers / companies of commission (if programmed)
- Invitation for two tickets to rehearsals where appropriate
- Invitation to first perfomance including post-performance supper with NNF's Artistic Director and Chair of NNF Board (additional ticket fee will apply)
- Recognition in commission performance, programme book, Festival brochure and on website
