Schools & education
Join our Cultural Education Challenge
We believe that all children and young people should have the opportunity to experience and be inspired by high quality arts and culture both in and out of the classroom as part of Arts Council England's Cultural Education Challenge.
We can support primary and secondary schools to develop a high quality arts and cultural offer and to form sustainable relationships with arts and cultural organisations through Artsmark, Arts Award and our Local Cultural Education Partnerships.
If you are a teaching professional we can signpost you to opportunities, resources and professional training to bring arts and culture to life both in and out of the classroom.

Placing arts and culture at the heart of your school with Artsmark
Awarded by Arts Council England, designed by schools, Artsmark can support schools to deliver a high quality arts and cultural education and provides an excellent way to demonstrate this.
Artsmark can help unlock the potential of your pupils and students, help to develop character and talent, and increase their knowledge and understanding.
Introduce Arts Award
Festival Bridge can support you to introduce Arts Council England's Arts Award programme. Arts Award is a set of unique nationally recognised qualifications which progress from Discover, Explore to Bronze, Silver and Gold. The programme supports pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of art forms as well as strengthens communication, creativity and leadership skills to assist progression into further education and employment.
Sign up to Local Cultural Education Partnerships
Festival Bridge can introduce you to Local Cultural Education Partnerships as well as regional and national networks and forums. Membership of Cultural Education Partnerships gives teaching professionals the opportunity to share knowledge, understanding and information with arts and cultural organisations.
The establishment of long term relationships helps to further inform and develop schools' arts and cultural offers as well as assist arts and cultural organisations in developing a strong education offer. Find out more about our Local Cultural Education Partnerships here
Festival Bridge is the first port of call for cultural education offers, information and news. We commission cultural education reports which inform our programmes of work as well as highlight the latest national and regional cultural education reports, teaching resources and case studies to support the sharing of best practice.
