Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Alberto Giacometti’s death, this landmark exhibition will explore the work of one of the giants of twentieth century art, celebrated as a sculptor, painter and draughtsman. The exhibition presents an exciting opportunity to examine the artist’s influence amongst his contemporaries in Paris and his impact on British art in the post-war period. It will include works by Jean Dubuffet, Germaine Richier, Jean Fautrier, Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Isabel Rawsthorne, William Turnbull and Eduardo Paolozzi.

Over 150 works will feature in a variety of media encompassing sculpture, painting, works on paper, photography, film and important archival material.
