Electronic Voice Phenomena
25 May 8.00pm – 10.55pm
Part séance, part avant-garde cabaret, Electronic Voice Phenomena channels themes of otherness, inspired by Konstantin Raudive’s 1970’s experiments which divined voices in electronic interference.
Experience distorted poetry and psychedelic glitch from Liverpool band, Outfit; the wickedly funny spoken word artist Ross Sutherland; sharp-witted poet Hannah Silva channelling ghostly utterances and experimental writer SJ Fowler playing Electric Dada through reconfigured recordings of Klezmer and German erotica.
Performance runs: c.180 minutes (including interval)
Produced by Mercy and Penned in the Margins with funding from Arts Council England
Presented in association with Writers’ Centre Norwich
