Saturday 17 May
Transatlantic collective Family Atlantica whip up a tornado of psychedelicised tropical grooves, led by London-born producer Jack Yglesia, and featuring the magical voice of Venezuelan diva Luzmira Zerpa, and the explosive percussion of Nigerian/Ghanaian Kwame Crentsil.
With a multi-national band of musicians from around the Atlantic, they seamlessly blend the styles of their shared ancestry into an irresistible dance music of their own special sound. Their first album provoked a storm of acclaim from tastemakers including a nod from Gilles Peterson.
