Verdi Requiem

Few masterpieces are as electrifying as Verdi’s Requiem. An intense and utterly compelling marriage of liturgy and opera, it raises the spirituality and emotion of the Latin mass to the pinnacle of high drama. This major event celebrates the 200th anniversary of Verdi’s birth and provides a superb vehicle for the Festival Chorus and a line-up of young operatic talent.
