From Man Booker-shortlisted writer Madeleine Thien, Do Not Say We Have Nothing is a gripping evocation of one of the most significant political regimes of the 20th century and its traumatic legacy.

Described as ‘moving and extraordinary’ by The Guardian, it tells the story of a mother and daughter who open their home to a young woman who has fled China in the aftermath of the Tiananmen Square protests.
