On the opening night of the Festival, join two celebrated writers whose shared passion for the gothic will fuel a conversation on creative inspiration, influence, and the ‘families’ of writers that help great art to flourish.

Known for her books Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith, Sarah Waters is established as one of the UK’s most prominent writers and is a bestselling, award winning author. Meanwhile rising star Sarah Perry’s debut novel, After Me Comes the Flood, has received much critical acclaim and won the 2014 East Anglian Book Awards. Hear them both read from their work, answer your questions and embrace the gothic imagination – book today.
