Close up black and white image of CN Lester looking towards the camera

In Trans Like Me, academic and trans-activist CN Lester addresses the most pressing questions in the transgender debate and combines it with a charged personal narrative of what it means to be a transgender person today. Lester covers hotly contested topics such as the rise in referrals for gender variant children, the relationship between feminism and the trans community, the mainstream media’s ‘trans moment’, and much more.

This event is part of our City of Literature Weekend, 26 - 28 May
