Free workshops available as part of Spontaneous Communities
Spontaneous Communities at Anteros Arts Foundation Gallery
Fye Bridge Street, Norwich
4 – 9 May 2012
Spontaneous Communities is an ambitious community programme for Norfolk & Norwich Festival. The Hamlet Centre, Drawing Buddies, Bowthorpe & West Norwich Sure Start, Baseline Womens Group and online community ‘Adopt a Herb’ have been working alongside artists, performers and herbalists to research ideas inspired by the Spontaneous City Sculptures, which were installed for Norfolk & Norwich Festival in 2011. Created by artists London Fieldworks and sited at Eaton Park, Waterloo Park & Cow Tower in Norwich, the sculptures draw on the ecology and biodiversity of their settings.
Come and see the work and take part in some Spontaneous Creativity. Games, Drawing, Shadow Puppetry, Sculpture & Herbal Tea Tasting will all be happening in the gallery.
